Refund Policy for Northern Virginia Youth Cricket Programs
Requests for cancellation and refunds from the Northern Virginia Youth Cricket (NVYC) programs must be submitted in writing to program administration as early as possible.
No refunds will be given once the first session of the season or a program has taken place.
Cancellation of the program due to Covid-19:
Depending on the timing of the cancellation, a pro-rated refund will be issued back to the participant; OR pro-rated credit will be given for future program.
No refunds will be made for cancellations due to inclement weather, injuries, or other circumstances beyond NVYC’s control.
Refund Policy for League or Tournament Participation
If, due to COVID-19, the season is canceled, we would offer refunds less any administrative fees to cover costs already incurred including league fees, field maintenance, permits, etc. The value of the refund would vary based on how far along we are pre-season and subsequently in-season as decisions are made by government agencies and/or the governing bodies of youth cricket.
For any other team release requests, it is understood that acceptance of a spot on a team is a commitment to the Club and to the team for the entire season or tournament. Should a player decide to leave the team for any reason, the family is still responsible for any and all monies owed to NVYC and/or to the team to cover all expenses for the year prior to the player’s departure. In accordance with NVYC policy, players may be released from the team for non-payment of Club or team fees. NVYC is not responsible for inclement weather, injuries or other circumstances that are beyond its control.
For more information about Travel refunds or releases, please write to NVYC administrators.Refund Policy for Camp Programs
if your child cannot attend camp. A makeup in a comparable camp is the preferable option. Any refunds will incur an administrative fee of 10% of the amount paid and any additional fees required to be deducted due to seat reservation in external programs and/or obtaining permits for fields or facilities. NVYC is not responsible for inclement weather, injuries or other circumstances that are beyond its control.
Cancellation of Camps due to Covid-19: Provided that the camp session has not started, a full refund (or full credit in another/future NVYC program) will be offered. If the camp session has already begun, then a pro-rated refund or credit will be offered.
